Paul is a Chartered Accountant and since returning from the UK in 2004, has operated in senior financial management roles for some of New Zealand’s major corporates including Meridian Energy, NZ Post and as Group Treasurer for the Todd Corporation. Prior to this Paul worked for global accountancy firm KPMG for 10 years both here and in London, working across their audit, corporate finance and insolvency practices.
Originally from the Waikato, Lucy settled in the Wairarapa in 2013. She’s a Chartered Accountant with a background in private enterprise, central government and the industry training sector. She’s also experienced in strategy development and marketing. Lucy lives on a lifestyle block in rural Featherston and is a keen mountain biker.
Andrew was Business Manager of a respected local Chartered Accountancy firm before joining WBS. He has a wealth of experience in all areas of operations management, with particular expertise in the fishing industry. He’s a local lad who traded in the bright lights of Auckland to return to his roots in Wairarapa, bringing his family with him.
Mobile Mortgage Manager
Lisa is a born and bred Wairarapa resident. She and her family live in Carterton and she enjoys making the most of the outdoors. You may see her ‘pounding the pavement’ in the early hours of the morning. Lisa is out and about in the Wairarapa assisting lending clients with their mortgage requirements. She has extensive lending experience having worked in the industry for over 12 years and can meet you at the time and place that suits you.
Loan Operations Manager
Sasha is Masterton born and bred and joined WBS in 2017. She’s a dedicated musician and has played drums for the Masterton Brass Band and other music groups, alongside her father and daughter.
Dianne has a large family waiting for her when she gets home each night – 1 husband, 3 dogs and 1 cat! She is a member of the local Dog Agility Club and holds NZ titles. She is often to be found at competitions at weekends or training her new Border Collie puppy. Dianne hails from Auckland originally, making the move to the Wairarapa with her then Fire Chief husband, many years ago.
She is a local girl, born and bred in the Wairarapa, who left to study for her degree at the University of Canterbury, before heading for the bright lights of Melbourne, returning home in 2016. Having purchased her first home in 2018 and working in the loans team, Rachael is well qualified to support first home buyers.
Melissa has a great history with WBS having been a staff member in the 80’s before leaving to start her family. She’s now come full circle and in 2016 returned to the WBS team, as loans officer. In her spare time she keeps busy assisting on the family farm.
Wairarapa born and bred Kathryn has had a long career in banking having worked for one of the ‘big four’ banks from leaving school. Kathryn joined WBS 9 years ago and is the face of investments for us. Kathryn enjoys spending time with her family and getting out and about walking.
Jack Larson is a well-travelled and experienced accountant. Jack is originally from Auckland and landed in the Wairarapa via London. Jack’s happiest when deep in spreadsheeting. When it comes to getting the bills paid he’s the man.

Lois is an animal lover and frequently rescues strays. Lois is one of the friendly faces greeting visitors. Lois has seen WBS through many changes being with us for over 30 years.

Originally from Auckland, Anna moved to Masterton with husband Dave in 2008 to raise their two lovely daughters and enjoy the relaxed lifestyle of the Wairarapa. As a family they are keen campers, trampers and hunters and enjoy spending time in the stunning Tararua Ranges.
