Earlier this month, December 2025, Trustees on the WBS Charitable Trust published the decisions from their most recent grant funding round. They committed $54,882.93 to 35 Wairarapa community organisations.

As Trust Chair, John Booth, states in the Times-Age article, Trustees were overwhelmed by the number of applications they received in the last round. They were also struck by the hard work going on by the applicants in the wider community, often behind the scenes .
