Making a difference to hockey in Wairarapa
Another local group that received support from the WBS Charitable Trust back in April was Hockey Wairarapa. Their Operations Manager, Sharon Gates, was in touch recently to let us know how their grant made a difference.
‘The grant funding from WBS in 2023 has contributed to Hockey Wairarapa being able to offer quality coaching and playing experiences in our development space. Coaches and participants had the opportunities to be in a supportive environment where continuous learning is encouraged.
‘Thank you again for assisting us to provide our community with a variety of programmes.’
