WBS partners with The Wairarapa Awards
It is with great pride we share that WBS has been unveiled as the naming rights sponsor of this year’s Wairarapa Awards, in an exciting new partnership with the region’s local Chamber of Commerce, Business Wairarapa. The event will become a feature of WBS’ 150th anniversary celebrations, reinforcing our strong commitment to supporting residents and businesses in the region.
“We’re really proud to be partnering with the 2023 Wairarapa Awards. It’s wonderful to be part of an event that celebrates the outstanding individuals and businesses in our region, which is something that we at WBS are really passionate about. As an organisation that’s been an integral part of the Wairarapa community for 150 years, to help our families, community and businesses prosper, the awards are a perfect fit for us. We can’t wait to see who enters this year and to hear their stories” says John Healy, WBS Chief Executive.
Business Wairarapa Chair Marie-Claire Andrews is delighted to have WBS on board. “WBS has supported locals and businesses since 1873. They have a strong and enduring connection to the Wairarapa community, so we’re especially delighted they have chosen the Awards to be part of their anniversary events.”
The WBS Wairarapa Awards is an opportunity for local businesses and organisations, whether they are a start-up or have a long history, to share their stories, celebrate their success and gain recognition for their brand, team and stakeholders.
“Business Wairarapa powers these awards to shine a light on the businesses, organisations and people who are doing amazing things across the region. We’re honoured to share the experience with an organisation with the vision that WBS has – for a vibrant, sustainable and financially strong Wairarapa,” added Andrews.
Entries to The WBS Wairarapa Awards will open on Wednesday 14 June and will culminate with finalists being hosted at a gala dinner on Tuesday 14 November.
Closing date for nominations is 5pm Monday, 14 August 2023.
